The Silver Chain Group’s purpose is to build community capacity to optimise health and wellbeing. This is the core of who we are as an organisation and will help us shape the future of community health and care across Australia.
Providing high value care so people can stay at home is at the core of what we do and is how we deliver on our purpose – building community capacity to optimise health and wellbeing. Over the next five years we aim to make a significant difference in the health and wellbeing of our clients across three core areas: health, aged care and country services.
Our Customer Centres play a vital role in supporting our staff nationally, to ensure best possible client outcomes. Our two Centres in Perth and Adelaide operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support our clients, partners and referrers.
Amidst a year of intense industry reform at national and state levels, both within the nationally recognised training industry and the health and community care industries it serves, RDNS Training (in South Australia) and Silver Chain Training experienced a variety of challenges and success in 2012/13.
