Over the past financial year, we have continued to support, develop and motivate our 4,000 staff and 350 volunteers so they can continue to provide the high standard of service to our clients that we have become renowned for in the community.
Clients from Silver Chain’s Fremantle Social Centre recently had the opportunity to participate in a Tech Savvy workshop, supporting them to embrace technology to stay in touch with family and friends and explore the online world.
Following and organisational wide survey by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) against the EQuIPNational Standards, all Silver Chain Queensland centres and services have received full accreditation.
For Perth resident Michael Murphy, who was holidaying in Lancelin with his family, a beach fishing expedition quickly became a day he would never forget. Just a few hours later he would be airlifted to Perth for emergency medical treatment.
