Year in Review - Social Care

The Social Care division of Silver Chain Group has been delighted to support an ever-increasing number of people to live their best lives, within their homes and communities.

As consumers have embraced choice and control over their care, we have been privileged to be a trusted advisor and supporter on their journey.

Our goal over the past year has been to respond to unprecedented demand for our services and ensure that each client and family we support enjoys control over their health and wellbeing. We are proud of the extraordinary outcomes our clients continue to achieve with our support and partnership.

We continue to be recognised as a world leading provider of reablement and restorative care services which reduce the need for ongoing services and enable people to live their lives as free from dependence as possible. From avoiding unnecessary hospitalisations to restoring strength and capacity, our programs are making a real difference in people’s lives.

Over the past year, Social Care’s skilled and trusted team supported more than 25,000 clients to enjoy a sense of wellbeing and independence in their own home or community through the provision of more than 1.5 million occasions of service and more than 1.3 million hours of care.

We begin the new year buoyed by the integration of Domiciliary Care Services, the iconic South Australian provider of Social Care services, into the Silver Chain Group. With the South Australian government choosing us to take on board this vital community service, we are well positioned to support a growing number of South Australians as they age. We are delighted to welcome the Domiciliary Care service team into the fold and cannot wait to see what our combined strength can deliver for South Australia.

We are grateful for the incredible support we receive from local communities across Australia as we strive to ensure all Australians can confidently live their lives as they choose. In the coming year we will continue to expand our services to meet our aspiration to support Australians to control and manage their own health and wellbeing.
